First gameplay footage of Silent Hill 5 has been revealed. The game has an outstanding look with gorgeous graphics that are highly detailed, but the real punch comes from the special effects which really show off what they can do with the power of next-gen systems in re-working the franchise. Your descent into Silent Hill looks cooler than ever before as it all happens in real-time, and it’s like the paint of the real world literally peels off around you. I was also struck by just how similar the game feels like Silent Hill 2, definitely a good thing. Silent Hill 5 will also include an all-new combat system! No more cumbersome, slow and boring combat. You will be able to dodge attacks, chain both light and heavy hits and have a multitude of possible options at your disposal at any one time when dealing with enemies (including improved gunplay).
