This Short Film Production Book has a cheesy cover but it isn't a bad resource if you are going to make short films. It's primarily for a 3D short film. I am toying with the idea of going 3D with our film but I am afraid that it will come out hokey. Short Film Production Book The Short Film Production Book entitled Inspired 3D Short Film Production I have enjoyed thumbing through this book. I got a ton of Film Production books the other week from a flea market and this one was in the box. This book was actually written by the guy who did the CGI for the movie Starship Troopers. The movie was terrible in a good way but the CGI wasn't bad. That fact made this book seem a lot more credible when it comes to short film production.
