Czechs tell Russia: Chill! PRAGUE–Russia’s been acting weirdly lately. Or should I say, weirder than usual? With Glasnost I thought we were friends again. No reason to be at each other’s throats. We posed no threat to one another. What could be bad? But in many instances during the intervening 20 years, we in the West have had reason to wonder what’s up with Russia. For instance, anyone out there think Russia’s reaction to Prague signing an agreement to let us put some Star Wars missile-defense materiel on their property was a little strange? Read this: The Czech Republic protested to Russia yesterday what it called threats following the signing of a pact this week to host part of a US missile-defense shield.
