Sherrif: I do pronounce you guilty

Lapeer County, MI- Sherrif Ron Kalanquin had promised to wed Harold Holt and Elizabeth Bruman, both 24, if they turned themselves in. However, Harold and Elizabeth were on the run and therefore he has withdrawn his deal. The couple was traced through telephone calls to a homeless shelter in Cheyenne, Lapeer County sheriff’s Sgt. Jason Parks said. The pair is being charged with an armed robbery in Deerfield township, about 75 miles from Detroit. Holt and Bruman were being held in a Wyoming jail pending extradition to Michigan, a process that could take at least a week, Parks said. Ahhh. Sherrif Kalanquin compared the couple to Bonnie and Clyde. I happen to have an Aunt who lives very close to the Lapper County bank and trust.
