British Aviation Authority Deadline 1 Day 11 hours 30 Minutes remaining Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has admitted in Leinster Houe this morning that there is no carrier lined up to take over the Shannon to Heathrow route once Aer Lingus pisses off to Belfast. During a heated Leader’s Questions session in the Dail this morning, Labour Party Leader Eamon Gillmore said that it was wrong that people could fly on holidays to Disneyland from Shannon, but could not fly from Shannon to Heathrow to do business. Meanwhile, Ithe European Commission has sent Dermot Manion a nice little wake-up call by deciding not to intervene and force Ryanair to reduce it’s share in Aer Lingus.
