British Aviation Authority deadline 4 Days, 11 hours remaining Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey is to move to protect the Heathrow slots of Dublin and Cork airports. Since Aer Lingus was privatised, the government were entitled to appoint two board members, however, they neglected to do this. Now Minister dempsey is to appoint two members with explicit instructions to protect the Heathrow airport slots routed to Dublin and Cork airports.
