Shaheen poised to run in New Hampshire

Last month I wrote that a Shaheen for US Senate campaign was likely in New Hampshire, it seems even more likely now. The former New Hampshire Governor and her husband "are telling supporters that there is about a 70 percent chance that she will run for the US Senate against Sen. John Sununu", according to the Evans Novak political report.Jeanne Shaheen is the best candidate national Democrat's can put up against Sununu, she leads him in all polls and has a money machine already put in place. Also its worth pointing out that in 2002 Shaheen ran in a midterm election year, 2008 is a Presidential election year and New Hampshire is certain to go blue in the Presidential race regardless of who the nominee is since the field is so strong, that will trickle down to the Senate race and help Shaheen win the seat.
