Shankar has been a force down South. But though I loved the films he made in Bollywood, he has still not received the kind of success one expected in the world of Bollywood. Shankar's film's in Bollywood namely, Gentleman, Jeans, Hindustani, Nayak and Aparichit though strikingly different from normal Bollywood movies, didn't do good business at the box office. But now after the mammoth success of Sivaji, Shankar has been beaming with confidence. And he has decided to take on Bollywood yet again with a renewed confidence.
