A new prediction by artificial intelligence researcher David Levy may spark hope for lonely singles everywhere — Levy forecasts humans will engage in sexual relations with robots by 2050. Levy’s thesis, “Intimate Relationships with Artificial Partners,” speculates robots will become so human-esque in appearance and personality that people will fall in love and consummate robot relationships regularly.
