Parents this Halloween BEWARE. The children dressed up as witches, ghosts and ghouls are not the only scary thing out there on Halloween. The state of Maryland may be on to something when it comes to sex offenders and Halloween. For the second year Maryland will make sex offenders post signs at their homes stating, “No Candy at This Residence” to help in the process of keeping predators away from contact with children. However, instead of a no candy sign maybe authorities would just like to put up a registered sex offender lives here sign KEEP OUT! To discourage contact with children, some registered sex offenders in Maryland will be asked to post signs at their homes that say “No Candy at This Residence,” on Halloween.
