He claims he doesn't want to call for federal hearings or spend government money investigating this. I suppose at time of war, there are much larger priorities.From the interview, I don't get a sense that we will be getting many details any time soon. Specter says that he doesn't feel the need to get the government more involved (right now) because:1. The New York Times has three (!) reporters investigating this. 2. There are two lawsuits filed against the Patriots, and Patriots coach Bill Belichick is going to have to be more forthcoming in depositions than he is in press conferences. That should be fascinating.3. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell needs to work out terms with former Patriot employee Matt Walsh to get him to say what he knows. (Goodell says [ Full article ] |
