Kyocera has offered $597 millionish to Sanyo Electric for its mobile phone operations.Last year Goldman Sachs and other investors had to rescue Sanyo with a $2.56 billion bailout.Sanyo's former president was bounced.The company's small mobile phone retail business was sold.Sanyo Electric Credit Co. was scrapped.
