The rupee ended almost unchanged on Tuesday, caught between capital flows into the fast-growing economy and dealers who sold the local unit anticipating central bank intervention against it. The rupee ended at 39.79/80 per dollar, having earlier touched a low of 39.90, its weakest since October 22. It ended at 39.800/805 on Monday.
