RIP Kefeel Ahmed

May we have a moment of silence please? Kefeel Ahmed is dead: The man seriously injured in the terrorist incident at Glasgow International Airport on June 30 has died, Strathclyde Police said. Police would not provide the man’s name, saying he had never been positively identified but said his death occurred Thursday evening at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Other sources identified him as Kefeel Ahmed, who suffered burns over his entire body from the airport blast and has not been charged. He’ll never know what it’s like to follow a season of American Idol from beginning to end, never eat fried clams or lobster roll in New England, never know how Harry Potter ended. But there is one thing he did know, for which the rest of us can be thankful: what it was like to “suffer burns over his entire body”. Can’t we resuscitate him for a little while longer?
