There are many factors that contribute to child abuse, but one of the most important is the fact that most of it happens in the privacy of the home and the victims are too young to do anything about it. This makes it easier for the perpetrators to continue abusing the child without anyone knowing it. Although there are many organizations that want and have the ability to help, the first move must come from either the victims themselves or a concerned party that has seen or suspects that some abuse is happening. With the advent of technology, child abuse cases has received a lot of attention from the media, law enforcement and organizations. The Internet has also proven to be a great help for the victims by making it easier for them to find information and get help.
