Avweek reporter Amy Butler nearly gets detained by the FBI after misplacing her digital recorder at a military industry conference in Alabama. In her own words: About five minutes later a guy in a suit with a radio … shows up with another suit as well. Hi, I say, thanks for keeping my recorder safe. Sorry about the mistake, I'd like it back. But he motions me to the door with the second suit. We need to go outside and discuss what happened, he says.
