If there’s no God, it could be worse |

At work, my supervisor and I had a little chat. She tells me that likes Australia and she would move there. She likes it there but she can never go to the US. Curious, I asked why. She said that she is afraid of this fighting. She went on to add that wars make her literally cry. She can’t seem to comprehend why people or nations fight. Furthermore, she added that we should have already learned our lesson from World War 1 and 2. Eventually, she said, “If there is a God (pointing her finger upward) he’s not doing a good job. (Chuckle) I was hurt but I couldn’t think of a good answer. Something that will convince her or at least make her think about. For a while I kept thinking of something to tell her about God’s existence without being insistent or argumentative. Then I remember what my old roommate told me about the same situation that made people ask, Is there really God. Why did he let this things happen? And her answer was, Of course God is there.
