----- Red. resembling the color of blood; the primary color at one extreme end of the visible spectrum, an effect of light with a wavelength between 610 and 780 nm. I don’t know why I chose the red candle, it just seems so appropriate right now. The glow of the flame flickers almost to extinction as I walk towards your form, the tiny light bathing the chamber’s stone walls and barely illuminating the room as I approach. My bare feet hardly make a sound, and the blindfold covering your eyes keeps you from knowing your coming fate. The flame regains its strength as I stand over you, the steel chains bolted to the wooden floor reflect in the light, each one terminating to a black leather strap attached to your wrists and to your ankles. A gag tied across your mouth suppresses any sound you may wish to make. I swirl the candle in my hand into tiny orbits, encouraging the flame to melt the wax around the flame’s base.
