Death of my Xbox…

This weekend I had the joy of turning on my Xbox 360 to play Grand Theft Auto IV only to discover that a few minutes into the game my screen was overcome with a purple and green tint. This occurred multiple times and now my 360 won't even display video when turned on. I suppose I'm luckier than some I've had my system since spring of 2006 and have had no issues while others seem to have problems right out of the box. Still, when I spoke with customer service they informed me that my warranty was out of date, I'd have to pay $100 for my system to be fix and it would take 2-3 weeks. That's a very long time to be Xboxless. I've decided, however, that this must be done. So to all you other owners who experience this problem, don't waste your time on trying to fix the problem by using different cables, different TVs or any other suggest hooey. Just bite the bullet and send your Xbox in. It also doesn't hurt to request expedited service, just
