Over the next couple days we are experimenting with Twitter. Shotpolitics.com will automatically reroute to www.twitter.com/shotpolitics. Many of you are asking what's twitter? Let us answer. Twitter is a SMS (short message service) and micro-blogging site. It answers the question what are you doing? in 140 characters. So, why are we doing this? As you already know, we folks that run The Shot are full time political operatives. What sucks about that is simple when we have lots of time to write long posts and update the site throughout the day, there is usually nothing to really talk about. When South Carolina politics is booming, we can't find 30 seconds to throw up an original thought on the blog. We can barely keep the news fresh every morning. So we admit lately our little site has sucked BIG TIME. Those other sites that have all the time in the world to update, place BS fliers on legislators desks, create false documents from TV stations, follow stars
