Raffinesse and Eleganz exhibition - Early 19th century caramic on display

Many more beautiful artifacts like the one pictured above are being showcased at an exhibition dubbed Raffinesse & Eleganz in Berlin, the capital of Germany. The U.S collector Richard Baron Cohen will exhibit more than 150 pieces hand painted from 303 photographs. The notable fact about the exhibition is that the photographs were taken on his year long trip to picture hippos in 101 zoos in 33 countries. The pot in the picture is the ceramic of the purported Hippopotamus Service with Cohen standing next to it. Anyway, we have no idea whether these beautiful pieces are up for sale or not. The exhibition will run from July 28 to November 4. via EliteChoice
