When is an apology owed? Usually it is when you make a mistake or say something rude to a person in the heat of the moment. Sometimes an apology is owed when you call someone a liar and inform them that they are “misleading and confusing” senior citizen about losing Medicare benefits. This is where we find ourselves today. The Obama administration, through Health and Human Services, sent a “warning” letter to Humana Inc. expressing their concerns about a mailer informing seniors that they will lose benefits under the current Baucus health care plan. Basically the administration tried to muzzle a private corporation and informed them that dissent would not be tolerated. Obama has continued to lie with his claims that Medicare will not be affected by these cuts he has proposed. Then today, the Congressional Budget Office contradicts this claim.
