Playground worthy fashion

Filed under: Style in the media, TopsI can remember hanging out at the bus stop listening to all of the mom's bicker back and forth about how inappropriate it was to allow your children to watch The Simpson's. I was of course one of those inappropriate children that was allowed to watch those crazy yellow skinned characters act out on the small screen. Even though I was allowed to watch my family didn't let me advertise such behavior, so my wardrobe was limited to my Limited Too outfits and clothing from The Children's Place. There was one girl in my class who was sort of the rebel child. I had my first cosmetics experience with her (gosh we looked like whores) which consisted of a heavy coating of Wet 'n' Wild, extra heavy on the 'wild'. Her clothes were pretty shabby, but there was one outfit that I was super jealous of ... her Maggie Simpson tee shirt.
