During the recall no child deaths were linked to the salmonella scare, but several families of elderly people claim their loved ones died as a result of ingesting the peanut butter. However, the poison scare is over and the food company is now restocking shelves with new, salmonella free jars of peanut butter. This likely comes as good news for families who have been missing their favorite brand of peanut butter during the last seven months.
