That was the quote Vuk Bojovic, Belgrade Zoo director (and stater of the obvious), told Reuters after a 23 year-old man was found half eaten in the cage of Masha and Misha, two bears living at the zoo. He was naked and his clothes were intact...suggesting the bears are fierce yet tidy. It is unknown how the Serbian man found himself on the business end of a bear attack. They do know, however, that he was in town attending Belgrade's annual beer festival. So perhaps that had a little to do it.According to the AP report, the police also found cell phones, bricks, stones and beer cans in their cage. No word on which cell phone company was willing to sign the bears to a contract nor which employee was bringing them beer. [ Full article ] |
