Merkley Hires Liberal Blogger Who Formerly Endorsed Opponent Steve NovickThis story was actually out yesterday, however I have a paying "non" political blogging job that did not allow me to address it.The blogger is Carla from LoadedOrygun and she announced yesterday that as of the 15th of this month she is leaving her digs in the Novick corner and going to work for "the best suited" Democrat candidate to take on Sen. Gordon Smith.In my opinion Speaker Merkley wins yesterday's Gillette "bold move of the day" award. Much of Novick's initial steam came from Carla over at LO as they were constantly hyping him and stumping for cash for him. And Carla was very prolific in her posting of pro-Novick blog diaries.I know that Carla will try to downplay the damage done to the Novick campaign as will the Novick campaign itself.
