Diplo Remixes The Black Lips

The Black Lips, I think, are one of those bands that you "have to see live" in order to get them. I'm not saying I don't like their music - some of it is cool and I don't think they're bad. But I haven't been able to catch whatever fire it is that so many others have had that say they're one of the best new bands out there. Everyone just says that once you see their live show (I've heard stories of lighting drumsets on fire and playing guitars with penises, although I've also heard that this was their younger, more exuberant days and that they've grown beyond these stage antics since then) and you will love them forever. Well, I unfortunately haven't had the chance to see them yet, which may explain why I haven't posted about them much, but I was sent this remix that Diplo did of their new "Veni Vidi Vici," which I must say that I quite enjoy.
