Former World No 1 Lindsay Davenport Returning to Tennis

Lindsay Davenport has said that she has plans to return to competitive tennis at the WTA event in Bali this September. Lindsay Davenport is a three time Grand Slam Champion but she said she was leaving professional competitive tennis at the end of last year due to a back injury. Since Lindsay Davenport has been away from tennis, she has had a baby boy and she has been saying that it was unlikely she would return to tennis. Lindsay Davenport said: “I’m excited to be playing Bali once again. “It’s such a beautiful environment and everyone is so friendly and supportive of all the players. It’s always a great week and a lot of fun. “I’ve really enjoyed playing the tournament in the past and feel it’s the perfect place for me to begin playing singles again.” What do you think about Lindsay Davenport returning to tennis?
