Napster Brokers Player Bundling Deal In Germany

The partnership involves D sseldorf-based Maxfield, a producer of MP3, mobile video and DVD players, as well as Bluetooth products. Starting next month, buyers of the Max Tibur n Grande Deluxe MP3 player will be treated to a gratis, six-month Napster To Go subscription. That includes access to premium, online streaming radio stations, as well as on-demand tracks across the PC and device. The player will initially be offered to German consumers as a limited-edition run for 169 ($200), though a cheaper version may follow the debut window. The tie-in represents an increasingly common relationship between manufacturer and online store.
