The partnership involves D sseldorf-based Maxfield, a producer of MP3, mobile video and DVD players, as well as Bluetooth products. Starting next month, buyers of the Max Tibur n Grande Deluxe MP3 player will be treated to a gratis, six-month Napster To Go subscription. That includes access to premium, online streaming radio stations, as well as on-demand tracks across the PC and device. The player will initially be offered to German consumers as a limited-edition run for 169 ($200), though a cheaper version may follow the debut window. The tie-in represents an increasingly common relationship between manufacturer and online store. In the United States, companies like SanDisk have recently established partnerships with Yahoo Music and RealNetworks, and other examples are not difficult to find.
