Michael Vick Hasn't Lost All His Fans

Filed under: Falcons, NFL Fans, AtlantaWhen the Falcons opened training camp today everyone wanted to talk about the player who's not there, quarterback Michael Vick.And it was notable that although there were animal-rights activists on hand to denounce Vick, there were also many fans vocally supporting Vick, including some who were highly critical of the team and the league for the fact that Vick wasn't allowed to participate in training camp. NFL Network reported that about 400 fans showed up to the first day of training camp, which was significantly fewer than the turnout last year. NFL Network also reported that Joey Harrington looked good in new coach Bobby Petrino's offense, although the knock on Harrington has always been that he looks a lot better in practice than he does on Sundays.Permalink Email this Comments
