Colbert's report: Running to lose, offers Craig No. 2 |

By Mark Silva There is a certain "truthiness'' to Stephen Colbert's campaign for president, including his admission that he doesn't really want to be president. He just wants to run. Colbert, running as both a Republican and a Democrat, is attempting to enter the South Carolina primary elections -- as a "favorite son.'' Colbert, star of Comedy Central's The Colbert Report -- and don't forget the silent French T's -- may have met his match today on NBC News' Meet the Press, where host Tim Russert grilled him on such questions as identifying the state amphibian. It's his dog, Colbert replied -- he runs on land and in the water. Colbert also allowed that he is willing to consider Idaho Sen. Larry Craig as a running mate. Pressed on whether they have had a conversation, Colbert said: 'Define 'conversation.'''
