On the July 24 edition of Fox News' Your World with Neil Cavuto, guest host David Asman falsely claimed of Sen. Barack Obama's reported plans for a White House transition months before the November election: "It's never been done before." After Temple University assistant professor Marc Lamont Hill said, "I'm not convinced that it's never been done before," Asman replied: "Well, I can't think of an example, and you can't think of an example. ... That's two out of two people." Similarly, during the July 24 edition of MSNBC Live, host David Shuster said that the Obama campaign "released some confirmation today that they have started to organize a transition team should Obama win. That does seem a little premature, right?"
