"Senator meets with Indian Americans over alleged slur" read the headline in the Chronicle. The purpose of the meeting? To kiss some ass. They are talking about Senator George Allen, the great white hope of right wing conservatism, and his descent into mindless bigotry. Allen did not make his remark because Mr. Sidarth was Indian. He made his remark because Sidarth had brown skin. Allen should go kiss the ass of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. I don't think NAACP is presenting its rump to the Senator. It may have something to do with confusion over the meaning of "colored". Therefore, as the acting (and self-appointed) Executive Director of the NAABrownSkinnedP I demand that Senator Allen please come and kiss my Macaca ass.
