As we get closer and closer to the 31st, it's looking more like that's going to be the truth. Even irritable old Lou Piniella isn't expecting any changes to his Cubbies, saying he's happy with the team as assembled. From the Chicago Sun-Times:''I don't know how we get better,'' Piniella said Thursday. ''What you see here is probably what's going to be here. I don't see many more changes. I don't really see us doing much at the trading deadline.'' The Cubs probably could use one more arm in the bullpen, but the price of bullpen help has been established by the Scott Linebrink trade, and it's not cheap. The Brewers paid through the nose to get Linebrink, giving up three pretty good pitching prospects.
