My father is 90 years old and living in a nursing home. He recently had a stroke that left him unable to walk. He's a “good” man by the world's standard, but “good” men need salvation because the word of God tells us that all have sinned and come short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). Nicodemus was also what the world would call a “good man”, but he still needed to be born again if he wanted heaven to be his home (John 3). ”As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” Romans 3:10. The question asked in Acts 16:30 was: “. . . Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” The answer was given in the next verse, Acts 16:31: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” This verse doesn't teach “household” salvation.
