J/R’s BBQ…”the place for ribs”

Yes, J/R's IS the place for ribs while visiting Ocean City Maryland. Finding ourselves wanting to dine early, around 4 pm on a Sunday afternoon and desiring some rib stickin' (no pun intended) food we stopped at J/R's BBQ Ribs located at the corner of 62nd St & Coastal Hwy, northbound. We found this to be an excellent choice. J/R's serves American style food with generosity. Our beef and pork ribs were well cooked, actually more than fork tender (who uses a fork for ribs?) and very flavorful the sauce was nice. The menu shows more than just ribs there is BBQ’d and plain grilled chicken. Then there are the various rib and chicken combos. There is also Prime Rib and several seafood selections including baked stuffed flounder, coconut Shrimp and grouper Ala-Rosa. All sounded good but we came for the ribs!
