J&K: Blast In Tourist Bus kills 3, Injures 18 |

Three tourists were killed and 18 injured when a powerful explosion went off inside a tourist bus near the famous Nishad garden in Jammu and Kashmir [Images] capital Srinagar [Images] on Sunday afternoon. Seven of the injured have been admitted to the SMHS hospital while the others were shifted to the Soura Medical Institute, police said, adding that the condition of six tourists is stated to be critical. A senior police official told rediff.com that the nature of the blast is yet to be ascertained. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blast even as paramilitary forces are carrying out search operations in the vicinity of the blast. [ Full article ] |
