Israeli cable wants to yank Christian station |

Israel's Hot Cable TV is planning on pulling a Christian station that runs 15-minute infomercials that try to reach Jews with the message of Jesus, causing, of course, an international brouhaha. Jerusalem city councilwoman Mina Fenton, an anti-missionary activist, told the Jerusalem Post:"The State of Israel must safeguard its Jewish existence which means preventing any non-Jewish authority that plans to wipe out the Jewish Nation spiritually from operating in the Jewish State."This is similar logic to why Jewish newspapers don't run ads from Jews for Jesus or, I can only imagine, why Christianity Today wouldn't publish a Muslim missionary's call to Islam.
