Nawahine, a 35-year-old woman who was arrested after exchanging sexually explicit text messages with a teenage boy. The boy is a friend of her children and plays football on her son's team. An example of one of the more than 1,000 messages police say were found on the boy's phone: "u would never be able to be with a girl ur age again."Nobody is accusing her of actually having sex with the boy, but it is clear that her communications were most inappropriate. What's more, she admits to writing the messages. As I read the article, I expected some outrage and condemnation. I was surprised instead to find immediate forgiveness and a willingness by some to just let it go.
