As kos noted yesterday, Senator Clinton has issued a statement reiterating her support for a withdrawal of American troops from Iraq. I would like to highlight the following: I will continue to do everything in my power to convince the President to change course and to work with my colleagues in the Senate to bring an end to this war as soon as possible. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Christopher Dodd and Joe Biden are presidential candidates, and indeed, it seems like that is the characteristic that not only defines them, but consumes them as well (especially for the top tier). But let us not forget that these candidates are also Senators. They are in a unique position--unlike John Edwards and Bill Richardson--to actually put their vote where their mouth is.
