I’ve been thinking about starting to read a couple new titles in the near future. As it stands right now, being able to buy and read comics is very dependent on my budget and my ability to find a place to buy them. The bookstore where I work has a very limited selection, and our shipments come about two weeks after the book is actually released. Going to the closest comic shop means driving for about 45 minutes, and I’m not usually going to make that trip unless I have another reason to go to the city. Once my income stabilizes at the end of August, I’m going to start getting my books from DCBS, an online store that offers huge discounts for comic books and charges only a flat rate for shipping. This will give me the opportunity to get my books in a more timely manner and do more reviews on this blog. So, what books do I think I will start picking up in September?
