Microsoft is jumping on the BitTorrent bus by creating a knock-off peer-assisted download manager format. The torrents new protocol will be known as The Microsoft Secure Content Downloader (MSCD), "a peer-assisted technology. Each client downloads content by exchanging parts of the file they're interested in with other clients, in addition to downloading parts from the server." Sound like a torrent to anyone else?
