Sometimes my boyfriend rolls his eyes when I sit down with a stack of glossies and a glass of wine and settle in to tune out. Am I a little embarrassed that I buy so many weeklies? Yes. Do I generally purchase a TIME or Newsweek to act as my literary beard? Sure. Have a thought about whether or not tabloids even count as magazines if you can read the entire thing cover to cover (and by read I mean look at all the pictures) in ten minutes flat? Certainly.
