My kid is now nearing the five-month mark and I still feel like my house and my life are a total wreck. A beautiful, love-filled wreck, but, you know--still a wreck. Before I got pregnant I used to keep to do lists. I tried doing this while I was pregnant only to realize I was constantly misplacing the lists, which were full of action items never to be given real consideration unless they had to do with the impending baby. Then I had the baby and stopped bothering to make the lists at all. That's because making the list is too time consuming, and I can never remember what I wanted to put on the list by the time I get around to finding a pen, a paper and two seconds of free time without the baby.
