Manhunt 2: Should The Game Be Banned? |

It has been reported that thousands of gamers are now downloading a video game which has been banned because of its graphic scenes of torture and murder. The game, Manhunt 2, features a character who goes on a killing spree in a mental institution. It is the only game to be banned by British sensors in the past 10 years. The British Board of Film Classification refused to allow it to go on sale because of its relentless violence' and casual sadism'. However, this hasn't stopped gamers playing it as it has now been leaked onto the web - available for anyone to download. Despite Manhunt 2 manufacturer Rockstar carrying out changes to the game, the BBFC still refused the game. No-one is allowed to play the game, but thousands of people are downloading it.
