Video gamers are uniting, or at least signing on to the Video Game Voter Network’s cause. And look how far they’ve come–they now have more members in their network than there are people in Tonga. “Politicians who think easy political points can be scored at the First Amendment's expense have to know that such efforts will be aggressively opposed,” Michael D. Gallagher, President of the Entertainment Software Association, said in a WebWire article. “VGVN and the ESA would rather work in a collaborative and productive partnership to educate caregivers about how to ensure the games their children enjoy are parent-approved.” I think the words “the games their children enjoy” should be emphasized, because once again, it is ultimately up to parents what their kids should or should not play.
