I know people have been praying for Tony Blair’s departure not least because Gordon Brown would keep President Bush at arm’s length. Silly rabbits, don’t you know that arms are for hugging? British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Monday that the United States and Britain are engaged in a “generation-long battle” against al Qaeda-inspired terrorism and that Britain “absolutely” shares President Bush’s philosophy on the war on terror. “This is a battle for which we can give no quarter.
