The final report on the Virginia Tech shootings has been made public after more than 4 months of investigation. Cho needlessly ended the lives of 32 Hokies in the worst shooting massacre in American history on the campus of Virginia Tech on April 16, 2007. Almost immediately, many factions of the press tried to blame video games for his violent actions. It turns out now that the most violent game he played while at Virginia Tech was Sonic the Hedgehog. No evidence was ever found that he played any “violent” or military style games whatsoever. The report stated “”[Cho] was enrolled in a Tae Kwon Do program for awhile, watched TV, and played video games like Sonic the Hedgehog.
