There seems to be some confusion in the body about what is meant when the terms "eternal life" and "eternal death" are used. When speaking of life and death the terms take on different meaning in the eternal than they have in the physical realm. In the physical realm both life and death are temporal states of existence. In the eternal both are permanent. There will be a resurrection of the dead. Of both the just and the unjust. The just to "eternal life" in Jesus with God our heavenly Father. The unjust unto eternal condemnation. However, the term "eternal death" does not mean discontinuance of existence. In the eternal state everyone who has ever lived will be alive. The just will enter into "eternal life" in Jesus and will be with God forever and ever. The unjust will enter into the lake of fire alive, just as the anti-Christ... [ Full article ] |
