Saturday’s Quirks and Quarks, the radio show in Canada hosted by Bob McDonald, includes several of its own takes on news widely reported elsewhere this week (crane-like pterosaurs, robo-monkey) and some real enterprise pieces. Whole show is here. Most interesting to The Tracker is the final item on biochar. A few researchers see it as an inexpensive, ecologically sound, and effective soil enrichment. It is essentially the addition of charcoal and similar material to soil. Some traditional farmers do it, and researchers like the results they find. Here is the direct route to the mp3 audio.
